New 2024 Stunning Patek Philippe Calatrava-Style Models

At the Watches and Wonders 2024 exhibition, Patek Philippe introduced two significant new watches: the 5226G white gold automatic three-hand watch and the 5326G platinum annual calendar.

After the discontinuation of the 5296, Patek Philippe’s lineup lacked a regular automatic three-hand watch. In 2024, the 5226G fills this gap.

Launched at Watches and Wonders 2024, the 5226G is Patek Philippe’s only regular automatic three-hand men’s watch. It features a 40mm case with a thickness of 8.53mm, making it suitable for daily wear. The watch boasts a retro, casual look with syringe hands, digital hour markers, and a large area of luminous coating. The grainy dial has a gradient effect with a beige luminous coating and the Patek Philippe logo, exuding a strong vintage feel. The case sides are adorned with Paris studs, maintaining Patek Philippe’s signature luxury.

The 5226G uses Patek Philippe’s new generation 26-330 automatic movement, which is replacing the older 324 movements. The 26-330 movement features a 27mm size, 45-hour power reserve, and 28,800 vibrations per hour, with the added functionality of stop seconds.

The 5326G-001, also launched at Watches and Wonders 2024, comes with two straps: a beige calfskin nubuck strap with hand-stitched edges and a black calfskin strap embossed with a fabric pattern, each with a fold-over clasp.

The 5326G is an annual calendar watch with dual time zones, a hallmark of Patek Philippe’s innovation. Previously, models like the 5960 and 5905 combined the annual calendar with a chronograph. Now, the 5326G combines the annual calendar with dual time zones, making it Patek Philippe’s only watch with this feature.

The watch features a 41mm case with a thickness of 11.07mm and maintains a retro casual look similar to the 5226G, with syringe hands, digital hour markers, and Paris studs on the case sides. The dial layout includes week and month windows at 12 o’clock and a moon phase and date at 6 o’clock. The dual time zone is displayed with a central hand, and day/night indicators at 4:00 and 8:00.

The 5326G uses the new-generation 31-260 Pearl Tuo movement, replacing the older 240 movements. The 31-260 movement is larger at 33mm and 5.6mm thick, with more independent splints and increased complexity. It has a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and a 48-hour power reserve.
